# 2.1 THE SNAIL TOKEN

The SNAIL token is the primary token for the SNAIL ecosystem. The token is deflationary by nature, and it is not possible to mint more of it.

Every single product that is introduced in our ecosystem will have a native interaction with Snail tokens, making $SNAIL deflationary by nature. One of our biggest focuses is making the Snail Token's deflationary use case within our ecosystem.&#x20;

The native SNAIL token will be vital to the different products in our ecosystem, such as staking, launchpad participation, SNAIL X, and each premium use case, subscription model, or feature

* The $SNAIL token will be the main connector to everything within the Snailbrook ecosystem.

* Earning SNAIL tokens through the Snail Staking,&#x20;
* Giving access to PearlHub's early project allocation&#x20;
* Access to the Snail DAO governance voting
